About the Business The Mixologist is the passion project of Ashton, a drinks expert with over 20 years of experience in the industry. The concept is simple but effective: bar-quality cocktails, pre-mixed at high strength (19% ABV), ready to pour. From the popular Crimson Crush to the rich Guinness Punch, these aren't your standard supermarket mixers; they are crafted with the care you’d expect from a high-end bar, designed for people to enjoy at home or for venues that want to serve great drinks without the complex prep time.
The Context Running a small business is often a balancing act. When you have a product that people genuinely love, the demand can sometimes outpace the hours in the day. Ashton found himself doing what many founders do—juggling the creative side of making the cocktails with the logistical heavy lifting of managing orders, deliveries, and stock. As interest grew from both individuals and local venues, it became clear that the manual processes holding the business together were starting to strain.
How We Are Helping We are working alongside Ashton to introduce a bit more structure to the daily operations. The goal isn't to change the product, but to make the business run smoother behind the scenes.
We are helping to implement simple, effective digital systems that handle the "boring stuff"—inventory tracking, order management, and customer data. By organizing how sales come in, particularly from wholesale partners like bars and restaurants, we can save the business valuable hours every week.
Looking Ahead Our collaboration is about giving The Mixologist the stability it needs to grow naturally. By sorting out the operational side of things, we hope to free up Ashton to focus on what he does best: creating exceptional drinks. We’re proud to support a local maker in taking that next step from a busy startup to a sustainable business.
